VRQHA is proud to celebrate nearly 10 years as the recognised representative of Victoria`s racing quarter horse owners, breeders and trainers VRQHA offers a season of racing opportunity for quarter horses at regional country tracks with the meets beginning in January through to March.
Season 2008/2009 culminated with the largest purses for a number of years, which saw exciting finals and showcased the quarter racing product to many new industry participants and also brought back many of the founding fathers.
In the 2009/2010 season we expect to add new benefits for membership, it will also bring new obstacles for us to conquer with sponsors being harder to attract in the current financial climate, increasing hardships on breeders and trainers, the rising costs and limited horse numbers will test our endeavors but it is also a year of new beginnings and marvelous racing opportunities.
